The Green Fund and the Region of Eastern Macedonia/Thrace co-organize and ‘Info Day’ soiree and a Regional Circular Economy Workshop from June 13 to June 16 2023, in the emblematic building of Evros Prefecture (Souliou 2) in the city of Alexandroupolis, in the context of the european project LIFE-IP CEI-Greece – LIFE18 IPE/GR/000013 “Circular Economy Implementation in Greece”. The project is coordinated by the Ministry of Environment and Energy in collaboration with 19 strategic partners.
On June 13, 2023 17:00-20:00, the ‘Info Day’ soiree will take place in the context of action Ε1.7 “Regional info days”, addressing the general public, with the aim to present the project LIFE-IP CEI-Greece, highlight CE best practices to the local community and clarify relevant issues and topics that are related to CE.
From June 14 to 16, 2023, 09:00-15:00, the three day Regional Workshop will take place in the context of action C7.1 “Targeted Capacity Building Workshops” where topics related to Circular Economy will be analyzed in more depth, a number of experiential exercises will take place and examples and best practices will be presented, by LIFE-IP CEI-Greece partners. The workshop aims to train all stakeholders that are summoned to design and implement waste management solutions, such as municipalities, the industrial sector, SMEs, agricultural associations, professional chambers, tourism organizations, NGOs etc.
