4th Forum on Food Waste Prevention: "From Farm to Fork"

How much food is wasted every day for no reason? How can we reduce waste and make the most of every available resource? With these questions at its core, Mytilene will host the 4th Forum on Food Waste Prevention on Friday, July 4th, from 11:00 to 14:00, an open event dedicated to the future of food, agriculture, and the environment.
In the context of the european project LIFE-IP CEI-Greece "Circular Economy Implementation in Greece" coordinated by the Ministry of Environment & Energy in collaboration with 19 strategic partners, food waste prevention forums are organized, with regular working meetings and the ultimate goal to develop voluntary agreements and relevant policy tools.
The 2nd Forum for the Prevention of Food Waste Generation, will take place on Monday 2 October 2023, at Harokopio University in Athens.

The project LIFE-IP CEI-Greece organizes, in the framework of action C7.2 "Development of a stakeholder dialogue forum for the prevention of food waste generation", the 1st Forum for the prevention of food waste generation - Measurement, prevention and management of food waste in the catering industry. The forum will be held alongside the Retaste 2022 – Rethink Food Waste conference (www.retaste.gr, October 20-21) and will take place on October 20, 13.30-17.00 at the Hellenic Mediterranean University in Heraklion, Crete with the option for live or on-line attendance, for the catering and hospitality industry.
