4th Forum Against Food Waste in Mytilene

4th Forum on Food Waste Prevention: "From Farm to Fork" Mytilene, University of the Aegean – Department of Geography How much food is wasted every day for no reason? Voluntary Memorandum of Collaboration between the Ministry of Environment and the Municipality of Metsovo in the Context of the Circular Economy As part of a broader effort to promote the circular economy in the agricultural sector, the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEEN) and the Municipality of Metsovo have signed a Voluntary Memorandum of Collaboration to advance the sustainable management and utilization of agro-food waste.

Successful Implementation of DIADYMA’s “Reuse and Recycling in Practice” Actions in Meliti and Aiani  – Next Stops: Karpero, Mesopotamia, and Livadero

The “Reuse and Recycling in Practice” events, organized by DIADYMA in collaboration with the Municipality of Florina and the Municipality of Kozani, were successfully completed. The activities took place on Wednesday, May 7th, in the courtyard ofPrimary School of the Meliti municipal unit of the Municipality of Florina, and on Thursday, May 8th, in the Central Square of the Aiani municipal unit of the Municipality of Kozani. This initiative aims to raise public awareness in Western Macedonia about the recycling and reuse of everyday items. The actions are carried out under the LIFE-IP CEI-Greece project (LIFE18 IPE/GR/000013), which aims to implement the Circular Economy in Greece, in cooperation with Appliances Recycling S.A. and AFIS S.A.
