The “Reuse and Recycling in Practice” events, organized by DIADYMA in collaboration with the Municipality of Florina and the Municipality of Kozani, were successfully completed. The activities took place on Wednesday, May 7th, in the courtyard ofPrimary School of the Meliti municipal unit of the Municipality of Florina, and on Thursday, May 8th, in the Central Square of the Aiani municipal unit of the Municipality of Kozani. This initiative aims to raise public awareness in Western Macedonia about the recycling and reuse of everyday items. The actions are carried out under the LIFE-IP CEI-Greece project (LIFE18 IPE/GR/000013), which aims to implement the Circular Economy in Greece, in cooperation with Appliances Recycling S.A. and AFIS S.A.
A Memorandum of Collaboration, within the framework of the LIFE-IP CEI-Greece project – LIFE18 IPE/GR/000013 «Implementation of Circular Economy in Greece»- was signed by the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEEN) of Greece and the Municipality of Andravida-Kyllini (Regional Unit of Ilia) to promote and utilize the region's agro-food waste in accordance with the principles of the circular economy.

The Municipality of Athens continues the pilot implementation of the separate collection of Hazardous Household Waste (HHW), as part of the initiative titled “Full-scale implementation of HHW collection networks and management (C3).”This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with “Terra Nova Environmental Technical Consulting Ltd.”, as a partner, within the framework of the LIFE-IP CEI Greece – LIFE18 IPE/GR/000013 "Implementation of Circular Economy in Greece" Project, coordinated by the Ministry of Environment and Energy.
