E-learning Programme- “Circular Economy for Tourism Professionals” within the framework of LIFE-IP CEI-Greece

A free, comprehensive distance-learning programme entitled “Circular Economy for Tourism Professionals” is being delivered within the LIFE-IP CEI-Greece project “Implementation of Circular Economy in Greece.”

The training programme is addressed to entrepreneurs, employees and students in the tourism sector who are interested in acquiring new knowledge and skills related to waste management and the implementation of circular economy actions in hospitality and food service businesses.

Participants will become familiar with practical tools, funding opportunities, certification schemes, as well as best practices for waste prevention and management, aiming to support more circular and sustainable tourism businesses.

The programme is offered FREE OF CHARGE and is implemented entirely online through a combination of synchronous learning (live webinars) and asynchronous learning (recorded e-courses).

Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

The E-learning programme “Circular Economy for Tourism Professionals” is implemented by the Network of Sustainable Greek Islands (DAFNI), the Green Fund, Harokopio University, the Ecological Recycling Society, Terra Nova, the Ministry of Environment and Energy, and the Hellenic Recycling Agency, within the framework of the LIFE-IP CEI-Greece project “Implementing the Circular Economy in Greece.”

PARTICIPATION FORMAT

The programme includes:

  • Online participation in 4 live webinars (synchronous learning)
    • Attendance of 7 recorded e-courses (asynchronous learning) via Google Classroom

To receive the Certificate of Attendance, participants must successfully complete:

  • 2 assessment quizzes
    • 1 case study assignment
